DOMOVA launched an online apartment valuation service in Chișinău

In September, DOMOVA introduced a free online apartment valuation service in Chișinău. The algorithm, based on 12,000+ transactions, generates a report in 3 seconds with ±5% accuracy, helping homeowners understand the true market value of their property.

In September, DOMOVA introduced a new tool for residents of Chișinău — a free online service for apartment valuation. This marks the company’s first step into the Moldovan market, where the issue of aging and distressed housing stock is becoming increasingly relevant.

How does the service work

The DOMOVA valuator is built on 12,000+ real estate transactions in Chișinău. The algorithm analyzes data such as district, building type, number of rooms, and other parameters, and generates a report in just 3 seconds.

  • No registration.
  • No phone calls.
  • Only transparent and objective valuation.

The average margin of error is ±5%, comparable to professional appraisals, yet the service is entirely free for users.

Why is this important

Many apartment owners in old buildings face the problem of not knowing the real market value of their property. This opens the door to undervaluation and manipulations. The DOMOVA online valuator enables every resident of Chișinău to quickly and easily obtain an independent benchmark for their apartment’s worth.

DOMOVA’s mission is not only to provide a valuation tool but also to help residents of aging and distressed buildings unite for collective sales. This model increases the overall value of the deal and allows owners to earn on average 10–15% more compared to individual sales.

This is particularly relevant for Chișinău: nearly 45% of the city’s housing stock consists of buildings constructed in the 1950s–1970s. Many of them are in poor condition and in need of renovation. DOMOVA offers a private, transparent, and technology-driven tool that can serve as the first step toward revitalizing urban neighborhoods.
